CheerFX News

Last uniform fitting is set for Thurs Aug 21 at 6pm.  We need to have all uniforms, shoes and warm-ups paid for by Mon Aug 25.  Uniforms must be paid in full for order to be placed.

Everyone needs to reregister for the fall.  $35 reg fee is due.  We need correct phone numbers and email addresses for everyone.  We need two team moms for each team let us know if you are interested.

Next uniform fitting will be Thurs. July 24th at 6pm.  If you need uniforms, shoes and/or warm-ups please be there.  We need to collect money and  place our order in Aug.

Gym is closed next week July 7-11 for our summer break!

All those on elite that had a uniform from last year that is messed up need to bring it to the gym by July 24th.  We have been asking for these for months now and this will be your last chance to get your uniform replaced.

Elite we will have a parent meeting on Monday July 14th at 8:30pm.  All parents need to be there.

Make sure you are staying up to date on your package payments.  Should have paid two payments of $110 so far.

      If attitude reflects leadership, then I will take that as a compliment. I can honestly say that I have a most wonderful group of parents and kids. It is because of the quality of the parents and students that I love my job.

      If I were to TRY and and sum the reason for this it would be ”likemindedness”. FX is a group of people that love  “hard work” and that it is the ONLY way to approach tumbling and cheerleading. FX has a huge number of students who love to get in here and bust their behind to get their skills. This is the driving force behind the success of FX: lots of kids spending lots and lots and lots of time, hammering their skills. Its flat out inspirational to see the students working that hard. I respect those who show that kind of heart, that firey determination. They make me look good. Hard work is steadily becoming the membership card at FX. I could ask no more.

      In parting I want to say, “thank you!” It has been both a joy and a priviledge to serve you… but we are not done yet. Excellence is our mark as individuals and as a team. You know what we have to do. It’s time to do what FX’ans do best: Let’s get to WORK!!!

We feel all the teams have done an awesome job this year.  We are very proud of all of them.

We compete this weekend (Saturday, Jan 26) at the Pasadena convention center.  We need the teams to meet team moms at the following times:

Mini 8:30a awards at 12:00

Youth 9:30a awards at 12:00

Cheer-e-ohs 9:30a

Sr 11:30a awards at 2:50p

Elite 2p awards at 5p

Remember that arrival time means arrive completely dressed with hair and make-up done and socks and shoes on.  If you are late and/or not completely ready you will do jumps for coach Amy. Remember that awards ceremonies are mandatory and you are to be in complete uniform with no shirts or pants on with uniform. 

Everyone needs to make sure they filled out a liability release for United Cheer.  These can be accessed under the competition tab on the website.

Please read memo below.  All balances must be paid in full this week.  This includes tuition, fundraiser fee, extra competition fee, spirit gifts fee, etc.  If your balances are not zero your child will not receive their National Champion jacket if they win one until all fees are paid.  Extra late fees will be added to accounts not paid in full by this week.

We have a block of hotels for the United Cheer national competition check the guestbook for information.

Fundraiser fee of $50 is due by Jan. 10 for all those that did not do fundraisers totalling $50 in the general fund.

We need to collect $20 from each girl for competition fees.  One of the nationals competitions was $20 more than what we had figured at the beginning of the year.  This needs to be paid by Jan. 17.

The elite bows are in.  Cost $18

We are placing one more order of the new t-shirts.  The last day to order is Jan. 10.

Please check with us to see if we have all paperwork for your child.

So everyone can prepare - Cheer Power Nationals(Feb 1-3) will be Friday and Saturday for Mini, Youth and Sr. girls.  Elite will compete Saturday and Sunday.  The mini team will need to be in San Antonio by approximately 2:30pm, Youth by 4:30pm and Sr. girls by 6:15pm.  These are approximate times going by the summary that is posted.  Awards for mini, youth and sr. girls are at 11:30am on Saturday.  Elite will need to be in San Antonio on Saturday around 3:30 and awards are on Sunday at 5pm.  Hopefully this will help you make plans for this weekend.

If you have not done fundraisers totaling $50 going to the general fund you owe the $50 fundraiser fee.  This fee is due by Jan. 10.

The gym will be closed Dec. 24 to Jan 6.  Classes resume Jan 7.  We will have extra practice as follows:

Elite Thurs Dec 20 7p-9p

Mini Wed Jan 2 5p-7p

Youth Thurs Jan 3 4p-6p

Sr. girls Thurs Jan 3 6p-8p

It is very important to be at practice if you are in town.  We have 4 weeks after we come back from the holidays and we will be at Cheer Power Nationals.   If you can’t be at practice let us know.  We will get the team moms to call and remind you.

Tuition needs to be paid this week or mailed to the gym by the first.  You may post date your checks to the first.

We still need the $25 spirit gift money from each girl.  We had asked for the money by the end of November.  The team moms have already been purchasing things so please pay this ASAP.

If you plan on doing individual nationals with Cheer Power and/or United Cheer we need to collect payments this week.  I have to mail checks by Dec. 28th to avoid late fees.
